Charlotte Carpenter releases her debut album ‘A Modern Rage’.
As the designer on this project I worked closely with Charlotte using photography by Esme Buxton to create an impactful, double gatefold vinyl cover to reflect the theme of the album.

I also designed the internal double gate fold for the sleeve, working to retouch the cowboy boot image and extending the background behind them to create space for thank you messages.

When developing the typography style for ‘A MODERN RAGE’ I created something simple, structured yet also tight in it’s lockup. This reflects the nature of the album, songs which are both full of rage yet neat in their sound and structure. The addition of the scribbles creates graphic contrast to the type.
